Canal Du Midi Bicycle Trip Reports

Many people have traveled the Canal Du Midi since its inception.  It is fun trying to figure out who the first cyclists were on the Canal Du Midi.  Thus far the earliest mention found by us is 1927, when the National Geographic Magazine had an article about a Canoe trip down the Canal Du Midi.  See link below.  George Washington did not mention any cyclists when he did the Canal Du Midi.  See his story below as well.
